Calling all volleyball players!
Agnews Developmental Center is having their 2nd Annual SPIKEOFF Volleyball Tournament. The tournament pits recreational and competitive division teams from high tech companies in a playoff, making the connection between sports, technology, and disabilities. Returning this year are teams from Sun, Cisco and Agnews, and we want your organization to be one of the seven other companies that participate. Of course, all proceeds will go to supporting individuals at Agnews, a residential facility for 500 people with developmental disabilities. In addition, since we have it on the Agnews campus, each of our 20 home residences will come out to watch and support their special team! Last years event was a big success and we expect this one to be even better. Invited guests include Olympic athletes, San Francisco 49er’s team members, and Sharkie!
Our goals for this year are to:

| Increase the Residents Benefit Fund by your donation |
DATE: August 1, 2002
TIME: Registration at 3:30pm, matches begin at 4:00pm sharp!
DONATION: $100.00 per team. Upon receiving your registration fee, we will send you a confirmation of your entry. An entry in the opportunity drawing and a welcome gift are included in your registration.
LOCATION: Agnews Developmental Center, 3500 Zanker Road, San Jose (between Tasman Street and River Oaks Parkway)
Your confirmation packet will include information on tournament rules, parking, award ceremonies at the Hot August Nights concert immediately after the event, food availability, prize giveaways and donation opportunities. This event is first-come, first served, so get your team registration in ASAP! We are accepting one competitive and two recreational teams from each organization. All other team confirmations will be held until July 1st, pending available space.
